About Project

Deep Eddy Vodka wanted to create some fun social posts to promote their new Vodka + Soda Ready to Drink cans. The team at McGarrah-Jessee wanted to show just how much real fruit juice was in each can, so what if an entire lemon was crammed into a can? Or maybe the can was inside a real piece of grapefruit? Or if you sliced open a can, what if it was just one big lime? Those questions were the starting point of the 3D renders I created. I really enjoyed expanding my C4D knowledge and skills on this one. I handed my renders off to Howard Shows who did some extra color correction and compositing.

In addition to the 3D renders, I got to animate a couple of fun concepts. The first is an image of Jacques Offenbach, the composer of the song most people call the “Can-Can.” Vodka Can, Can-Can… get it? Well, the team came up with some great lyrics to go along with the song and I got to animate him enjoying some delicious cans of Vodka + Soda. And the last animation is a fun droste-style endless spiral of fruit. Very mesmerizing.
